Toilet repair in Monterey Park

A tank that takes forever to refill or never quite shuts off is a daily annoyance. Lift the lid, take a photo and send it to (310) 628-9399.

Fill valves and very hard water

The fill valve has small passages and a seal that open and close every flush. In Monterey Park's very hard water, those passages crust up and the seal sticks.

A slow, hissing refill or a tank that overfills into the overflow tube points to the fill valve. Replacing it is a short job with the toilet in place.

Flappers and seats

Scale also roughens the seat that the flapper closes against. A new flapper on a rough seat may still leak, so we check the seat and clean or fix it.

Houses here are mostly from the 1940s to the 1960s, and many bathrooms still carry older tanks. We measure before choosing parts.

Rocking and leaking at the floor

Loose closet bolts let the bowl rock, which can break the wax seal. Water around the base after a flush is the clue.

We reset the toilet on new bolts and a new seal. If the flange or subfloor is damaged, we explain it before going further.
